That is a song about walking away from the ‘Love Story’ guy. I wrote it within weeks of writing ‘Love Story’, That particular guy reminded me a lot of fairy tales and Prince Charming. And I guess the first thought I had in my head when I realised it wasn’t going to work out was, “Wow, I guess I’m not a princess.” Sometimes when I think out loud like that, it actually ends up being a line in a song.
